Constituent Manager Solutions is a consulting firm located in Ottawa, Ontario that provides advisory, communications, data management and voter contact services to advocacy groups, political campaigns and elected officials at all levels of government across Canada.

Position Summary
As a part-time junior bookkeeper, you would be responsible for assisting with the recording of the firm's day-to-day transactions and general bookkeeping activities. Reporting to the Managing Partner & President, this is a great opportunity for someone already working as a bookkeeper or someone looking for flexible work that can be done remotely.


  • Record day-to-day transactions and complete the posting process.

  • Assist with completing annual tax filings with the Canada Revenue Agency.

  • Prepare the firm's books to be brought to the trial balance stage.

  • Enter data, maintain financial records and create statements.

  • Process accounts receivable / payable and handle payroll.

  • Additional general bookkeeping activities as required.

Ideal Candidate

  • ​​Minimum of one year experience working in an office environment in an administrative role.

  • Effective communicator with an interest in the Canadian political process. Bilingualism is an asset.

  • Capable of using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Workplace and experience using Intuit Quickbooks.
